Javier Julio did a presentation today titled “Building Maintainable Applications with PureMVC”.
In this presentation he outlined some of the key features of PureMVC, an actionscript framework. Contains many features to speed up the development process of large action script intensive applications, as well as has extensive documentation and assistance for developers who need it.
He also demonstrated some of the time saving features of the framework with it’s libraries and error handling. He compared it much to similar frameworks on different platforms, such as Code Igniter or CakePHP. PureMVC, like other frameworks, is designed to handle a large amount of code and make it far more manageable.
It was an amazing presentation overall about how far actionscript has come and the power of PureMVC.
